MoneyWeek videos are designed to help our viewers become better investors. They're aimed at beginners and more experienced investors.
In some videos we explain investment concepts in an easy-to-understand way. In others, we focus on topical investment stories and themes. Either way, the emphasis is on clarity and brevity. We don't want to waste your time with a 20-minute video that could easily be so much shorter.
MoneyWeek videos are made by MoneyWeek, the UK's most popular financial magazine. Founded in 2000, MoneyWeek aims to provide intelligent and enjoyable commentary on the most important financial stories. It also tells you how to make money from the latest financial news.

I have delisted the Russian ADR, Do you think I can able to sell or buy the Dark Pool OCT counter? Please let me know your thought
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Super good, quick explanation, thanks!
let me cry first for failing my last exam 😭😭😭 finally I understand these the DCF. thanks for the great video
awesome explaination. Great example
I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.
True, I mostly just buy and hold stocks, but my portfolio has been mostly in the red for quite awhile now. Unfortunately to be able to make good gains, you’ll need to be consistent and restructure your portfolio frequently.
It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.
My partner’s been considering going the same route, could you share more info please on the advisor that guides you?
There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Colleen Rose Mccaffery” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
Thanks a lot for this suggestion. I needed this myself, I looked her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
Boycott Starbucks.
This was sooooooooooo helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!💯

Yes but it’s not about making money anymore is it? Banks deplatformimg people for not being green enough etc.
Intelligent, bus misguided. This man as part of the band of con men that unleashed Brexit on the UK middle class.
love it! just wondering where the intial transaction of £1 million would appear? or would the asset be paid off annually over 10 years to match the amortisation schedule (presumably reinforced by a manufacturers guarantee that the machinery would be actually be usable for the full period of 10 years as in this example)?
Brilliant. Thank you.
I have 2 questions. 1)where do the numbers 8.5% and 8% from the swap back come from? how did we end up with those numbers. 2)Co A is at an absolute advantage, why would it wanna engage in the swap in the first place? Thank you
The only content I have found that actually explains futures.

borrow at the wrong rate from their banks is the key in understanding this concept

Add the interpretation on B for the time period
So well said. Sent this to my 15 year old and he loved it. You are so good at explaining!

I don't understand why using EBITDA if in it there still are some costs I need to sustain and after those costs are paid it won't take 9.5 times the profit to make the capitalization

hi good morning
MUCHAS GRACAS, ESTO PODRÍA INTERESARLE: ua-cam.com/video/j826ettvbOY/v-deo.html.
hi good morning
It is such a relief to see something made for subjects of the United Kingdom rather than American citizens in this genre.
I genuinely mean it when I express my stress and concern regarding the market crash and high inflation, particularly in relation to my retirement. I have been experiencing losses for quite some time, and while some may argue that crises can present opportunities, I am feeling overwhelmed. However, I understand that investing is a long-term endeavor, and it is crucial to maintain focus on the bigger picture and the long run.
You managed to convey the idea to me. Thank you, sir. After watching 5 different people babble on, I finally get it. Thanks again. 😊 May Fortune smile upon you!
❤
this guy is fantastic ....at explaining things...good job man.
You're a great teacher. Enjoyed this lecture! 👍
Very easy to understand thank you!
Did someone just explained me Futures, Forwards and Novation that quick and easy! Wish I would have come across this gentleman's videos earlier.
For those who are not sure about "earnings", stay away from stocks. 😅😅😅
Isn't a repo not a loan but an actual sale/exhange, which they eventually have to buy back? Wouldn't Lehman have to show in their footnotes this as a contigent liability? Where could investors see how much repo liability they had?
